Lee’s Market is a family run, growing regional supermarket chain based in the Cache Valley of Utah. They focus on offering clean, quality and high service shopping environments and place high value in supporting the local communities they serve
On the heels of their 2020 downtown SLC city store, and continuing on their steady pattern of growth, Lee’s was putting plans together for a new store in the growing community of Herriman, south of Salt Lake City.
The challenge Lee’s had is they needed to find an alternative supplier for some of the specialty refrigerated display cases. Lee’s needed a supplier partner that was a better fit and who is more focused on supporting independent chains.
Working closely with the Lee’s and AFS Planning team to understand the needs, Cayuga put together a proposal for some of the specialty cases needed for the delicatessen, bakery and produce areas specifically.
The store opened in February 2022 with a great reception. The partnership experience between Lee’s and Cayuga has been mutually very beneficial – we’ll be shipping out another large project for Lee’s in a couple of months!
